ThermaLipo™
INDICATIONS FOR TREATMENT:
Treatment with ThermaLipo™ radiofrequency is indicated for:
- Lax skin
- Localised fat, especially cellulite
Any area of the body can be treated: arms, abdomen, inner thighs and knees, gluteal muscles, infragluteal fold (banana fold), skinfolds of the back, etc.
CLINICAL RESULTS
Patients will usually note a temporary improvement during the first few days after each treatment and permanent results within 2-3 months after the first treatment.
In clinical tests conducted with the ThermoLipo™ all patients demonstrated an improvement in symptoms and all patients reported a high degree of satisfaction.
ThermaLipo™ is a simple, very well tolerated procedure that does not require anesthesia. The patient will not feel any pain and only a sensation of heat that is usually transitory.
NUMBER OF SESSIONS:
The number of sessions is variable and depends on the patient and specific anatomical sites. Usually 8 to 12 sessions are required.
FREQUENCY OF SESSIONS:
One session every 4 to 7 days. However this may vary according to medical criteria.
DURATION OF TREATMENT:
Treatment time depends on the area treated. Small areas, such as arms or abdomen are usually treated in 30-45 minutes. Larger areas, such as excess fat around the hips and buttocks (saddlebags) or inner thighs may take up to 60 minutes per session.
POST-TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS:
Once the treatment session is over the patient may immediately return to normal daily activities but should avoid excessive sun exposure, including artificial tanning, for 24-48 hours.
COMBINATION TREATMENTS:
Combination with other therapeutic drainage techniques, such as vibratory platform or presotherapy, usually improves the results. It is recommended to apply them immediately after treatment with ThermaLipo™.
SIDE-EFFECTS:
- Erythema. This is the most frequent side-effect. It immediately appears in the treatment area as the skin temperature rises. It normally disappears within a few minutes.
